I normally write books that show women how to get what they want from men, in relationships with men, and out of life.  In this book I show women how to avoid all of the things they don’t want from men and in relationships.  From the new danger of HIV to the old problems of drama, cheating, being hurt, lack of commitment, and unwanted pregnancy.

My goal is to show the root cause of why women allow men to bring these unwanted conditions into their lives and to provide strategies so you never allow a man to bring any of these things into your life again.

This book contains a Tragic Romantic Novel

I start by telling you an entertaining true story about a time when I ignored all the warning signs and shared my body, heart, and money with a very dangerous woman.  It cost me money, success, stress, drama, pain and it almost turned sex that God created to give life and bring pleasure into misery and my death.  I tell my story to women because if a woman took the same risks as I tool, she is at greater risk of these “Life Threatening” concerns.

Life threatening concern one- is that the HIV virus disproportionately affects the Black community and that Black women are the fastest growing HIV population.  According to a Center for Disease Control (CDC) study, African Americans make up nearly half of all people living with AIDS/HIV.  While that is bad, Black women account for 64% of all women living with AIDS/HIV and Black children account for 63% of all children living with AIDS/HIV.  This is tragic when you consider that Black people make up only thirteen percent of the population.

Life threatening concern two- is what really allows AIDS/HIV and other relationship problems to affect Black women more than all others.  According to the CDC the primary method Black women contract HIV is from having unprotected sex with a man who has HIV.  How is it that with all the talk about HIV, so many women are still having risky sex? Through my story, I address one of the primary reasons so many females are willing to have risky unprotected sex and I apply it to other destructive behaviors that put you at personal, professional, and financial risk.

When strong and successful people make sexual, relationship, financial, and other decisions at a time of weakness, fear, loneliness, or insecurity, it can destroy your life in many ways.  You will read how the proper conditions can cause YOU and/or your daughter to make a weak, reckless, and regrettable decision.  I expose this dark chapter of my life to keep you and your daughter from making decisions that will turn a life of joy, health, success and longevity, into a future of misery, sickness, struggle, and a premature death.

This book Prepares YOU as an adult and parent

As an adult women this book provides you with information about the HIV virus that can save your life.  Then it provides proven strategies to help you make relationship, sexual, financial, and other decisions like the strong and successful woman you are, even when you feel weak, fearful, lonely, insecure, hurt, or desire instant gratification.

As a mother or father, this book will help you talk to your daughter about her weaknesses and insecurities and the risks of sex in the twenty first century.  I provide information so you can talk as a subject expert and not just as an emotional and controlling parent.  Then you can also talk about other risky behaviors and their consequences.

From CDC website

Blacks account for about half of all people living with HIV/AIDS within each sex category. According to information from 33 states, during 2005,

  • among women, 64% of  women living with HIV/AIDS were black

Males No. = 341,524 and Females No. = 126,964

For black women, the most common ways of getting HIV are (in order)

1.    having unprotected sex with a man who has HIV

2.    sharing injection drug works (like needles or syringes) with someone who has HIV

Blacks at higher risk for HIV are those

  1. who are unaware of their partner's risk factors
  2. with other STDs (which affect more blacks than any other racial or ethnic group)
  3. who live in poverty (which is about one quarter [25%] of all blacks)
